Champagne

A few weeks ago we took a day trip to the Champagne region of France with our program. We got to tour several wineries and learn about how champagne is made and how it differs from other types of wine. It was a breezy day spent sipping wine and mimosas.

Amsterdam was so much more than I expected. Beautiful canals, food, art, bikes, flowers and people. Unbeknownst to us until the day before, our bus left at 1 am on Friday and took 9 hours to get there. It wasn't fun, but once we got there it was worth it. We did almost everything on our list although we were only there for a little over 24 hours. The trip was short, but for 20 euros I can't complain!

Catching Up

Some picies of the last few weeks en Paris.

So its been awhile since my last post. Normally I would apologize and give an excuse for my apathy, but I have to say I'm not sorry at all. The past few weeks in Paris I've taken life and run with it. I was always told that the closer I got to the end of my time here the more the comfortable I would feel and it's true. I wholeheartedly feel like Paris is my home and I have been making every effort not to waste a second of my precious time here. One of my friends has a running countdown of the number of days until we leave, I personally feel this is a bit dismal but it has made me appreciate the fact that our days really are numbered. I plan to take advantage of every opportunity that comes my way, and somehow study for finals in between.. priorities people.
